We understand that challenges can begin at any age for a myriad of reasons. MASC has traditionally provided support to young men aged 13 and older.

However, due to the growing need in our community, services to children as young as 10 years old are reviewed individually.

Therapy is a personalized journey. Our therapists typically recommend scheduling 8 to 12 recurring sessions of 45 minutes each to effectively work toward your goals and desired outcomes.

  • Initial frequency: Appointments usually occur weekly, helping you integrate the strategies learned in therapy.
  • Progress-based adjustment: As you make progress, sessions can be spaced further apart to reinforce skills.
  • Additional support: If extra sessions are needed, particularly for crisis intervention, your therapist can discuss options to ensure your needs are fully met.

Our facilities are fully equipped to accommodate individuals with physical disabilities. We ensure accessibility and provide tailored support to meet each client’s unique needs. Clients are encouraged to mention any specific requirements in the intake form so we can plan accordingly.

We believe that all children and adults are deserving of support. Our therapists are trained to address a wide range of mental health challenges. We recommend that interested clients note any concerns in the intake form and provide any recent assessments or diagnoses for review. This helps us determine if MASC is the best fit for their need.

We understand the growing need for flexibility due to busy schedules. While in-person sessions are preferred, virtual sessions are available and welcomed to ensure you can access support wherever you are.

Yes. We offer transition and support services for children living or studying overseas. In many cases, we work collaboratively with school counsellors and other local support staff to provide coordinated care, ensuring the overall wellbeing of students even when they are away from home.
